It includes 07 environmentally controlled sheds with dimensions of each 360ft length,40ft
width,9.5ft height &, furnished with latest techniques of feeding, drinking & ventilation control.

Activities Performed at Nilore Farm

First Day (entry into farm)
Biosecurity
1 Foot dipping
2. Hand sanitization
3. Changing clothes (provided By the Farm)
4. UV sterilization of stationary, Mobiles and Luggage
5. Changing Shoes
6. Taking bath.
Routine Farm Management:(Daily at Nelor Farm)

30 mins for bathing and changing clothes.

Light of shed turns ON and feeding starts.

Egg Grading:
Eggs after collected from nests and floor egg in shed were then brought to egg store for further
grading into different grades and then stored at required temperature.
Eggs Fumigation,cleaning ,storage and transportation :
After gradind , all the eggs are stored andthen fumigated in the eggs store room.
Temperature of eggs in the storage room is 16C
After fumigation all eggs are clean and are transferred to the Egg’s tray and them transported
via proper transport system to the hatchery.

Daily postmortem:
Daily postmortem of the died chickens were carried out in order to diagnose the problem or
disease due to which mortality has occurred.
Following vital parameters were maintain at their normal in farm. :

 Light intensity and duration

 Ventilation of shed
 Temperature of shed
 Humidity
 Static pressure

Weekly Farm Management :

1. weight Recording
Every Sunday weight is recorded in every pen , for this purpose 60 females and 30 males are
confined by Guaze and their weight is recorded by weight balance in noted in register.
Average Weight of Birds (36 wk):
Male: 4.5 kg
Female: 3.6 kg
2. Medication :
Medication is done when required especially in diseased condition,stress or to prevent any
disease.
The Following medicine are used n Nilor form
1 Amoxitil 2 Selenobooster 3 Vitapower 4 Doxyvet 5 Tilocin 6 spiralin 7 Bromexen

3. Vaccination
Vaccination program was conducted for various diseases like Newcastle , IB, IBD and mark’s
disease with various routes like subcut,I\M and water drops etc
For example , HPS vaccine (Hydro TC) is injected s/c at 28TH week and ND vaccine Is
administered through drinker water.
