FOXTAIL MILLET CHAKALI

INGREDIENTS

 Foxtail milet flour 70grams


 Rice flour 10 grams
 Roasted Bengal gram flour 20 grams
 Red chilli powder 20grams
 Cumin seeds 1.5 grams
 Ajwain 1.5 grams
 Turmeric 1 gram
 Oil 100ml
 Salt 5grams

Standard recipe :

In a mixing bowl or a large plate


add the millet flour , roasted
Bengal gram flour, rice flour, chilli
powder, salt , cumin seeds and
ajawain.

Now add hot oil to it and mix


well ,later add warm water
and knead it into a loose non
sticky dough.

Now take a chakali press grease the


inside with oil and add the dough into it
and press it into chakali shape/round.
Heat oil. The oil should be at medium
high and deep fry the chakali until it
crispy and golden brown.
