The terms of the discretionary programmes, including but not limited to CORE PLUS+ INCENTIVES PROGRAMME may be
revoked, cancelled, modified or conditioned by Amway at any time, at its sole discretion.
Prior to approving qualification, Amway may track and verify volumes leading to ABO’s qualification throughout the period
of qualification and up to and including the time the award or bonus is to be disbursed to ensure that the qualification is
earned in accordance to the Amway Rules of Conduct, Standards and Policies, which can be found under (www.amway.
co.za).
This website also includes the “Amway Principles on Qualification” document, providing information regarding how the
Amway Rules of Conduct are enforced. In addition to the performance criteria and adherence to the Amway Rules of
Conduct, ABOs must be in good standing and not in breach of their ABO contract with Amway throughout the period of
qualification and up to and including the time the award or bonus is to be disbursed.
Amway may adjust the Core Plus+ Incentive Programme components or any other discretionary elements considering the
market situation at any time, at its sole discretion.

ALL INCOME AMOUNTS MENTIONED IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE EARNED BONUS AMOUNTS WITHOUT VAT1.

Please refer to additional explanations and details in the “Your Questions Answered” Document for more specifics. The
possible duration of this Core Plus+ is until the end of PY22, if it generates the expected benefits.

Only those ABOs, who have sufficient registration of business activity with the local state and/or tax authorities, are eligible to receive bonuses and cash incentives as

Amway calculates monthly bonuses for you based on the Point
Value (PV) and Business Volume (BV) that you and your team
generate by successfully promoting products to customers and
purchasing for personal use.

Programme (GIP)
Rewarding your exceptional growth.
The GIP is used to reward key achievements in the growth of your business
and helping others succeed. GIP provides extra income and benefits in
addition to Amway Core Plan. These awards are offered at the discretion
of Amway for a limited time.

With your Amway business, there are so many ways

Leader Development (LD)


The LD programme focuses on the balanced structure of your Amway
business, leading to the increase of your Core Plan bonuses.
It helps you grow to Platinum and even further, rewarding and supporting
your efforts on a monthly basis. LD rewards ABOs with active personal
performances reaching at least the 12% level as per the Amway Core Plan
and supporting minimum three (3) legs to reach certain levels.

Qualification Period
1 September 2021 - until Core Plus+ Bronze Incentives is launched in your market.

IMPORTANT! LD history for each ABO starts counting from September 2016: once ABOs
completes EP 1 to E3, they are no longer eligible for that or lower EP.

Additional Information
• Earning Period (EP) is a period within which ABO can earn a certain number of LD
bonuses. There are three (3) different EPs as per Qualification criteria summary table.
• EP is individual for each ABO and starts from the first month when the LD bonus is
earned.
• Only in-market legs (Personal and Foster) generate LD bonuses.
• To earn the respective LD bonus the ABO has to meet three (3) qualification criteria in
the same month:
100 Personal PV respectively

12% (min 2,400 GPV), 15% (min 4,000 GPV), 18% (min 7,000 GPV) Performance
Bonus level respectively;

Support at least three (3) frontline legs to qualify at a minimum


3%-3%-3%, 6%-6%-6%, 9%-6%-6%, 9%-9%-6%, Performance Bonus level,
respectively.

Qualification criteria for ABOs

• All new ABOs and those ABOs who finish PY21 with highest Pin level below FPL,
provided they were not eligible for EP 5 throughout duration of the LD, start or
continue with EP1 - EP3 depending on each ABO LD history.
• EP 1 lasts for a maximum of six (6) months starting from the first LD qualification
month. The maximum number of LD bonuses within EP 1 is three (3). A similar principle
applies to other EPs (for details refer to the table on the previous page).
• Each bonus amount depends on qualification criteria met by an ABO in a certain
month and varies from R1000 to a maximum of R2000 LD bonus within EP
1. Meeting higher criteria within a certain EP will generate a respective higher bonus
but will not start a new EP for a higher level.
• ABO can move to the next EP after receiving the maximum number of payments or
once the previous EP is over, whichever comes first. There is no restriction to the
number of months between EPs as each ABO is given the opportunity to build their
business at their own pace.
• Once ABO completes a certain EP, they are no longer eligible for that or lower EP. LD
history for each ABO starts counting from September 2016. Please note that once
Core Plus+ Bronze Incentives is launched in your market, GIP will be discontinued. You
will be informed about the exact launch date through official Amway communication
channels.
Help Downline ABOs
Qualify at 21%
to Increase Core Plan Bonuses

Your monthly bonuses can grow as your team grows and supporting
customer sales. Earn rewards as you coach others to build their businesses.

Monthly Leadership Bonus


Earn 6% for helping personally sponsored downline ABOs qualify at 21%. Leadership Bonus
is calculated beginning with the furthest downline in each leg who qualified at 21% Performance
Bonus level. 6% of that ABO’s BV is rolled up to their immediate sponsor. A sponsor keeps ALL,
SOME or NONE of this amount, depending on their Leadership PV (LPV).
Leadership Bonus Minimum Guarantee is the minimum amount of a Leadership Bonus that must
pass up to a qualified upline sponsor as their minimum guarantee. This amount is different for
each market and will vary based on the PV/BV ratio of the country.

The example that follow is for 6% Leadership Bonus and is based on a PV/BV (PV/ZAR) ratio
of “1:20”. Leadership Bonus Minimum Guarantee for this example is 6% x 200,000 BV = R12,000.

Monthly Depth Bonus
Earn 1% of BV for building a team of qualifying ABOs in depth. Receive a Monthly Depth
Bonus when you have three (3) or more in-market legs at 21% Performance Bonus in a month
and at least one of those frontline ABOs has one or more downline qualified at 21%. Depth Bonus
is calculated separately for each qualified leg.
Depth Bonus Minimum Guarantee is the minimum amount of a Depth Bonus that must pass
up to a qualified upline sponsor as their minimum guarantee. This amount is different for each
market and will vary based on the PV/BV ratio of the country.

EXAMPLE BONUS CALCULATION


21% (1st level ABO)
The example that follow is based on a PV/BV (PV/ZAR)
ratio of “1:20”. Depth Bonus Minimum Guarantee for
this example is 1% x 200,000 BV =R2000. It is used
as an example only. For the currently valid ratio and
minimum guarantee please check Amway online or
contact an Amway office.
21% (1st level ABO)
Each qualified frontline of the Depth Bonus recipient
passes up R2000 to the next Depth Bonus recipient.
In this example, all 21% ABOs have 10,000 PV and GIGI
200,000 BV. The bonus calculation starts with the
second level qualified ABO:
200,000 BV x 1% = R2000 21% (2nd level ABO)

Since the first level ABO of this leg is able to generate


the Minimum Guarantee with her own volume,
Gigi keeps all of the Monthly Depth Bonus that is
21% (1st level ABO)
generated by the second level ABO.

ANNUAL LEADER BONUSES

Ruby Volume includes Personal Volume plus Pass-up Volume from in-market legs who are not
at 21% on the Performance Bonus schedule. Group Volume from downline qualified Platinums
is not included, regardless of whether or not they are at 21% on the Performance Bonus Schedule
for the month.

Personal Group Growth Incentive+
Earn extra on the way to Founders Platinum and beyond. On a monthly base
you can earn 10% monthly multiplier on your Performance Bonus as long as you are
tracking for the Personal Ruby Q (PRQ) months base comparing to last Performance
Year (PY). In addition, at the end of the PY, you can earn annual multiplier on your
Performance Bonus from PRQ months.
Earn a PRQ each month you reach 10,000 Ruby PV or 4,000 Ruby PV with at least
one leg at 21% Performance Bonus level.
Maintain or increase PRQs compared to the previous PY.
Generate minimum 2,400 Personal PV annually.

Definitions Qualified/Silver Producer Month

Discretionary Incentives ABOs have a Qualified/Silver Producer month if they:
