Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Between Bengal Diplomacy Summit (Hereinafter referred to as "BDS") And

UEMCON(Hereinafter referred to as "UEMCON")

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is entered into on 13 March 2024, between the
Bengal Diplomacy Summit (BDS) and UEMCON, aiming to foster collaboration and mutual
support in the fields of diplomacy, academia, and social media.

1. Purpose:
The purpose of this MoU is to establish a framework for cooperation between BDS and
UEMCON in the following areas:
1.1. Social Media Collaboration: Both parties agree to collaborate on social media
platforms to promote their respective events, initiatives, and activities.
1.2. Delegation Sending: BDS and UEMCON agree to facilitate the sending and hosting of
delegations between their organizations, aiming to foster academic and diplomatic
exchanges.

2. Scope of Collaboration
2.1. Social Media Collaboration:
BDS and UEMCON will engage in joint social media campaigns to promote each other's
events and initiatives.
Both parties will share relevant content, including articles, announcements, and
updates, through their official social media channels.
BDS and UEMCON will collaborate on the creation of multimedia content, such as
videos and infographics, to enhance engagement and visibility.

2.2. Delegation Sending:

UEMCON will facilitate the sending of delegations comprising students to participate in
Bengal Diplomacy Summit helding on 18th and 19th May, 2024.

BDS and UEMCON will organize networking sessions and cultural exchanges to facilitate
interactions and collaborations among the visiting delegations.
3. Implementation
3.1. A designated liaison officer from each organization will be responsible for
coordinating the implementation of this MoU.
3.2. Regular meetings and communication channels will be established to review
progress, discuss opportunities for collaboration, and address any issues or concerns
that may arise.

4. Deliverables:
4.1 Deliverables of Party I BDS are as follows;
Party I shall be deploying means of social media and communication which
includes Facebook, Instagram, and other related social media pages for posting a
collaboration post with the official logo of Party II and promoting Delegate Applications
on their Social Media accounts.

4.2 Deliverables of Party II UEMCON are as follows;

Party II shall be deploying means of social media and communication which
includes Facebook, Instagram, and other related social media pages for posting a
collaboration post with the official logo of Party I and promoting Delegate Applications
on their Social Media accounts.
Party II shall send delegation in Bengal Diplomacy Summit on 18th and 19th
May, 2024. And the Delegation Sheet shall be sent to the BDS secretariat within 15 Days
of MoU signed.

5. Neither party shall do anything to compromise or hurt the reputation of either

organization. The names of each organization must only be used for promotional
purposes;

6. We hereby notify that bengaldiplomacysummit@gmail.com mail ID shall be the point

of contact for further communication in the future;

7. Duration and Termination

7.1. This MoU shall come into effect upon the date of signature by both parties and shall
remain in force till commencement of Bengal Diplomacy Summit.
7.2. Either party may terminate this MoU by providing 30 days written notice to the
other party. Termination shall not affect any ongoing collaborations or commitments
made under this MoU.
 5. Confidentiality
5.1. Both parties agree to treat any confidential information shared during the
collaboration under this MoU with the utmost confidentiality and to use it solely for the
purposes outlined herein.

6. Governing Law
6.1. This MoU shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the bylaws of
Bengal Youth Club for Development (Parent Organisation of BDS 2024).
In witness whereof, the undersigned, duly authorized representatives of Bengal
Diplomacy Summit and UEMCON, have executed this MoU as of the date first above
written.
