The given diagram demonstrates various steps of generating electricity by utilizing geothermal

energy from the underground. As can be seen from the diagram, the production passes through several
main steps, commencing with the cold water which is pumped down to underground and ending with
the electricity which is distributed by electricity grids.

At the first stage of the process, after the cold water is pumped down by a 4.5km pipe into the
injection well, it went through the geothermal zone where has a host of hot rocks. Next, at the
production well the hot water is pumped up to a tank. In a tank, hot water is condensed and is
converted into steam.

In the following step, the steam in the third step from a tank went to a turbine which is powered
by steam, turbine circulates the steam and translates it into power to a generator which is connected by
a small pipe. Finally, the electricity which is produced by a generator is available for distributing by an
electricity grid.
