Title: Ancient Egyptian Civilization

Relevant SC Standards: Sixth Grade students should be able to understand the content
relating to the civilization of Ancient Egypt. The resources used by the people of
Ancient Egypt.

Description: This app lesson will develop students’ understanding about the
development of Ancient Egypt.

Instructional Objective: Students will be able to understand how Ancient Egypt was
developed by learning the material then making their own civilization online using the
resources the Egyptians had.

Step 1 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will watch a crash course about
Ancient Egypt on YouTube to better understand the material.

Step 2 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will create their own pyramid
civilization.

Step 3 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use screen pal to get screen
shots of their civilizations. They will then label the pyramids and resources and
upload their screen shots into a slide show shared with the entire class.
