BACKGROUND

Local business enterprises are finding it difficult to grow or expand their


activities. Most of the enterprises have remained the same for years
because of a lot of challenges. It is against this background that learners
are supposed to carry out a research on business constraints.
THE CALA ACTIVITY

The Cala has two parts, part A and B. You need to complete both parts.

Part A

a) define the term business constraints (3)


b) identify business constraints that have affected business
enterprises (5)

PART B
Discuss how business constraints have affected local business
enterprises and suggesting solutions (22)

HOW YOU WILL BE ASSESSED

To assess your presentation, your facilitator will consider your research


materials, explanations and originality.
