SEXUALITY OF THE PERSON VIRTUES

Sexuality Modesty
- Refers to a person’s biological manhood or
womanhood.
- Each one is unique.
- Human beings are the only creatures that are
capable of loving because they are the only
creatures that have intellect and will.
Sexuality VS Sex VS Gender
- Sexuality refers to a person’s sexual character. It
refers to a person's sexual orientation or preferences.
- Sex refers to the sexual act or the classification of Self-control
genders at birth. It is the biological characteristics
that define males and females.
- Gender is the characteristics of the person defined
by social norms. It refers to the social and cultural
characteristics that define masculinity and Chastity
femininity, which are often based on societal norms
and expectations.
​ - The firm decision to commit oneself to wait until
ISSUES ON SEXUALITY
Teenage Pregnancy
- Because of fear and shame, victims of teenage
pregnancy resort to abortion which is currently
illegal in the Philippines.
- There are higher risks of health problems such as
preeclampsia, anemia, contracting STDs (sexually
transmitted disease), premature delivery,
postpartum hemorrhage, and poor mental health
outcomes.
Pornography
- The word "pornography" comes from the Greek
"pornographos," meaning "writing about
prostitutes." It is derived from "pornē," meaning
"prostitute," and "graphein," meaning "to write."
- It is a depiction of erotic behavior, such as pictures
or writing, and is intended to cause sexual
excitement.
- It can also refer to depiction of sexual acts in a
sensational manner to arouse a quick, intense
emotional reaction.
- It is about showing respect for people who are
committed to living chaste lives.
- We show this by dressing up properly, covering the
most intimate parts of our body, and these are
usually the chest and our externalities.
- Dressing modestly does not equate to dressing
shabbily.
- Showing one’s true beauty or handsomeness.
- “You are what you wear”
- It is the ability to say “NO” to whatever and
whenever our body feels like doing or having
something.
- It is a virtue that allows a person to say “YES” to
true, authentic love.

that both will practice chastity; and to treat the
opposite sex with respect and care.​
