POSITION TITLE : RESETTLEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

SALARY GRADE : 10

BASIC FUNCTION :

Responsible for the provision of assistance in the efficient delivery of services before,
during and after squatter relocation and resettlement operation.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Facilitates the delivery of pre-relocation documents to local government units and other
parties concerned in the operation.
2. Prepares daily schedule of families for relocation and resettlement in coordination with
the local government units/NHA projects.
3. Collects documentary requirements such as family pictures, residence certificates,
marriage contracts and other identification papers from affected families at least a day
before actual relocation.
4. Undertakes site inspection in case investigation of families requesting for lot allocation.
5. Conducts project tour/visit of proposed relocatees to the resettlement projects.
6. Provides assistance in the conduct of census, tagging and mapping operation in NHA
Projects/properties.
7. Maintains and continually updates a comprehensive information system of all area (Area
Folder)
8. Receives/evaluates in-coming and review/releases outgoing documents
9. Provides administrative and clerical assistance/services.
10. Performs other related functions as may be required.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education : Completion of 2 years college studies in Public/Business


Administration/Commerce major in
Management or Economics, Social Work, Community Development,
Public Administration
POSITION TITLE : COMMUNITY RELATIONS ASSISTANT

SALARY GRADE : 10

BASIC FUNCTION :

Responsible for performing activities related to the implementation of community relations


activities, social services and other related functions.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Facilitate community information campaigns and motivational activities for specific areas
of concern.

2. Assist in gathering feedback observations pertaining to housing related needs.

3. Assist in drafting drafts specific project proposals for community support services
pertaining to livelihood and community relations.

4. Assists in the implementation of community support services programs (e.g. conduct of


training activities for the community / EHAP / Former Rebels and COHSEP/TCO).

5. Assists in the preparation of periodic accomplishment reports ( EHAP / FR /


LIVELIHOOD)

6. Keeps and efficient and systematic filing and retrieval of documents of Community
Support Services.
7. Assists in the receiving, recording and releasing of official documents internal and
external in nature for Community Support Services.
8. Follow-ups and coordinates with district offices, and project requests for urgent data,
information and documents.
9. Performs other related functions as maybe required.
