Coffee Shop

We picked a coffee shop business because we can get the best of both worlds by getting profit
from something we are passionate about and sharing our love for the legendary drink with
other coffee lovers in the community. Not to mention, coffee is a drink for all seasons.
Therefore the demand for coffee all year round should be at the least of our worries. People
come back to coffee shops because it offers a uniquely calm atmosphere, paired up with a
soothing aroma of coffee that makes gatherings of family and friends more appealing. Trends
may come and go, but the coffee culture will live forever. Plain old coffee has secured its spot
as part of people's daily lives in every part of the world. Therefore, starting a coffee shop isn't
like other new and trendy foods that might do well initially but die out in a year or two when
people shift their attention to the next big thing.
In the coffee world, you will never lack a market for your product, and not many b businesses
have that as a bragging right. Some have even admitted that it is harder to quit caffeine than
cigarettes. So, even though coffee shops are popping up more quickly than ever, demand is
growing with it.

ALTERNATIVE 1
CREATING A NEW ONE
Pros:

 Creative Freedom: You have the right to create the coffee shop with the theme, menu, and
location that you desire. You have complete control over inventory management, can
create and carry out your own marketing strategy to advertise your coffee shop, and can
manage the entire customer experience, from the quality of the coffee to the
atmosphere of the business. Being your own boss will allow you to design the concepts,
themes, and moods for your café. Additionally, you have the option to create your own
menus and choose what goes on them. You may also include your area of expertise or
your strongest skill.
 It is yours to manage entirely
- Most important for many budding entrepreneurs, building your own business makes you
the boss in every way possible. That is the beauty of being self-employed. You make every
decision. You set your schedule. You run the show exactly the way you want to run it.
Nobody can tell you what to do because you own the business. If you know how to build a
better mousetrap or run a better business, this is your chance to prove it to yourself and to
the world.

Cons

Longer time to startup.

Starting a coffee shop will take time and effort in order to build a successful business. You must
learn how to operate the coffee shop. This requires careful planning and preparation, which can
take several months to complete. This includes creating a business plan, researching the
market, finding a location, securing funding, and obtaining the necessary permits and licenses.
