the corner of Churchgate with views across
the Market Square. The customer base is loyal,

Granello Lounge’s handsome green tiled
exterior overlooks Brand Street in the
heart of Hitchin. There’s a sprinkling of
tables on a little front terrace, big windows
that open right out all along the front and
they serve a fantastic range of food and

vegan menus.
3. Four Leaf Clover – British
A family run café in Sun Street serving
breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. They
have an extensive menu including Toasted
Sandwiches and Paninis, Burgers and
British favourites such as Steak & Kidney

4. Bridge St Bistro – French
This little restaurant tucked at the end
of Bridge Street is modelled on a typical

H-TOWN AWARDS
Thank you to those of you that took the time to vote for a town
centre business. The awards were aimed at recognising the
outstanding dedication and achievements of our town centre
businesses. We had over 500 entries and will be announcing the
winner in the coming weeks with prize giving at the Christmas Tree
Light Switch On in November.
NEW RANGER
We are pleased to welcome Leon Norton to the Hitchin BID team.
He started in June this year and has been busy introducing himself
to the town centre businesses and getting stuck in to the varied
daily duties!
THE NIGHT RANGERS
We have reintroduced the Night Rangers to the town centre. Both
SIA Security trained, they work Friday and Saturday nights from
10pm to 3:30am. These Rangers play a vital role in assisting
members of the public, patrolling the town centre and generally
keeping the town centre a safe place to visit at night.
