At the end of the discussion the

Determine the tips on how to deliver
an extemporaneous speech.
Adapt and learn the different tips on
how to deliver an extemporaneous
speech.

1.Familiarize yourself with

Take time to understand the topic you’ll be
talking about.Do some research,collect useful
info,and build a strong understanding of your
subject.This knowledge will be your base for
the speech.

Construct a good structure for your speech
with a introduction,body,and conclusion. Organize
your ideas in a logical sequence to ensure a
smooth flow from one point to another.

prompts and phrases to help you navigate
each segment of your speech rather than
memorising the entire thing.This will keep
you on track and help you refresh your

Avoid sounding robotic.Try to have a
conversational tone that shows who you
are and helps you engage the
audience.Pay attention to how you pace
yourself and refrain from speaking too
quickly .To achieve clarity,speak clearly
and enunciate your words.
5.Handle Nervousness
Try to control your nervousness by
breathing deeply and keeping an
optimistic outlook.Remind yourself of
your background knowledge and level
of preparation.Transform your anxiety
into enthusiasm.
6.Practice Active/Deep Listening
Throughout your speech,observe the
response and engagement of the
audience.Pay attention to in cues or
queries they might.Modify your delivery
in response to their comments;for
example slowdown and elaborate on
particular aspects to make sure they
understood.
7.Adaptablity
Extemporaneous speaking requires
adaptability.Be prepared to adjust your
speech if needed,such as addressing
unexpected questions or incorporating
new information.Remain calm and
carefully address any obstacles that may
come up.
