I.BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION

Rapid growth in humanity, urbanization, and rising consumption patterns have made waste
management a critical issue in recent years. The long-term environmental effects of traditional waste
disposal practices like landfilling and incineration have been created. These behaviors contribute to the
release of greenhouse gases, water and air pollution, and the loss of natural resources. Therefore, there
is a pressing need for sustainable waste management strategies that not only reduce these adverse
effects but also encourage resource conservation and environmental protection

We can solve a number of environmental issues by emphasizing sustainable waste management

techniques. First off, it enables us to lessen environmental pollution through the development of
creative waste management and treatment methods that don't degrade the quality of the air and water.
Furthermore, by reducing the greenhouse gas emissions caused by traditional trash disposal techniques,
sustainable waste management techniques would help combat climate change. Thirdly, these methods
help the conservation of natural resources by encouraging waste minimization, recycling, and the
recovery of valuable materials, which lessens the need for the extraction and manufacture of some
resources.

Sustainable waste management techniques could also encourage economic expansion and create job
possibilities. The growth of a circular economy, in which resources are reused and recycled, may result
in the emergence of new markets, employment possibilities, and advancements in trash disposal
techniques. Reducing the costs connected with trash treatment and disposal, which are incurred by
using conventional waste management techniques, can also result in cost savings.

Investigating and promoting efficient methods in this area is essential given the urgent environmental
concerns we face and the potential advantages of sustainable waste management procedures. In order
to reduce negative environmental effects, conserve resources, and advance a greener and healthier
future, this proposal proposes to investigate potential sustainable waste management strategies that
can be put into place on a local, regional, or national level.

II. OBJECTIVES

A. Development objectives

The following environmental issues in Barangay Lourdes are;

 - Lack of proper segregation
- Human waste , biological waste from nearby communities

This project proposal can help towards the environmental issues in the Barangay Lourdes here in
Bogo City through the Robot Garbage Machine and to educate the residence within the barangay.
Through this project activity we can surely make the residents in this barangay can properly
segregate.

B. Immediate Objectives
Given the proposal activities were successful. Changes will be visible in such as the proper segregation
including the plastic bottles, because it serves as recyclable thing and we can use it as a material
whatever it makes.

III. PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN

A. Expected Project Result

The target of this proposal is to minimize the mess in the street because of the some issues of dogs
destructive behavior activities such as chewing, garbage raiding, and some other desirable activities.
Herewith, the estimated budget is about Fifteen Thousand Pesos (15,000). By doing that we are sure
that we can maintain a clean and healthy environment.

C. Project Beneficiaries

This project proposal can benefit the resident of Barangay Lourdes. The resident of the said
barangay are expected to actively participate in segregate waste and to be include the 3R’s.
(Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). As being said Locals must participate in following rules to be
implemented by organization in order to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
 D. Implementing Agent Management of Project

A. The members of the organization are responsible for the planning in management of the said
activities. The LGU are responsible for the budget of the activities and the Youth of the
organization must take part in helping the organization, especially the SK Youths.

B. Letters will be send by the organization leaders requiring the LGU’s and the Youth Leaders to
attend Monthly Assembly for the preparation of the project plan.

IV. Project Monitoring and Evaluation

In this project proposal members of the said organization and the residence of barangay are assigned in
monitoring the environment and being responsible in their wastes and follow the protocols by
implemented by the organization, if rules are violated there will fines. If seen and caught throwing
wastes there will be a penalty, the penalty will be Five Hundred Pesos (500).

In the other hand technical reports will be conducted by the locals and organization officers every
month in order to check any progress towards the project conducted.

V. Budget

As decided the estimated budget for the plan project proposal will Fifteen Thousand (15,000). LGU must
contribute Fifteen Thousand Pesos.
