The Research Instruments
Data Gathering Procedure
The Statistical Treatment of Data.
Research Design:
This research used a descriptive research design to gather data. Under the descriptive research
design, the researchers will conduct a survey using checklist questionnaires with follow up
questions intended for the 3D students only.
The Respondents:
Participants for this research entitled “Curriculum Evaluation” was not randomly selected as the
researchers used convenient sampling technique as it is the most suitable method to be used in
this study. The participants were the 3D students of Department of Education.
Research Instrument:
The research instrument used in this study were interview guide questionnaire. The former was
used in online interview and the link was given to the 3D students during the conduct of the
survey. The researchers used a “Likert scale” in the first part to measure willingness and
effectiveness quantitatively. It consists of choices that which are strongly agree, agree, neutral,
disagree and strongly dis agree. It is the best tool for measuring the level of effectiveness.
The questionnaire was constructed and the results was interpreted after the survey.
The researchers seek approval to the 3D students through a formal chat only. The data that the
researchers gathered were recorded, tallied and analyzed.
Introduction:
Curriculum evaluation is a crucial aspect of education that helps educators understand the impact
of their teaching methods and materials on students. One important aspect of curriculum
evaluation is gathering feedback from students about their perspectives on the effectiveness of
the curriculum.
There are several ways to evaluate a curriculum from a student's perspective. One common
method is to conduct surveys or interviews with students to gather their opinions on various
aspects of the curriculum, such as its relevance, engagement level, and overall impact on their
learning experience. Another approach is to analyze student performance data to see if there are
any trends or patterns that indicate areas where the curriculum may need improvement.
By gathering feedback from students about the effectiveness of the curriculum, educators can
make informed decisions about how to improve their teaching methods and materials to better
meet the needs and expectations of their students. Ultimately, involving students in the evaluation
process can lead to a more engaging and effective learning experience for all involved.

The table shows that the grand mean of the "Curriculum Evaluation" was 4.14 which
means that this curriculum is effective for the 3D students perspectives.
SUMMARY:
This study revealed that the curriculum evaluation of 3D's student perspective on the
curriculum's effectiveness observes that this perspectives is effective for the 3D students.
The findings also revealed that the 3D students are knowledgable enough about the
curriculum evaluation and all the respondents is aware regarding the curriculum evaluation.
However, they are willing to continue studying to further improve their knowledge about
curriculum evaluation.
Based on the information provided, the next best move would be to analyze the
specific factors or components of the curriculum that contributed to the positive perspectives
of the 3D students. This could involve conducting further statistical analyses, such as
regression analysis or factor analysis, to identify which aspects of the curriculum were
particularly effective for them. Additionally, qualitative research methods like interviews or
focus groups could provide deeper insights into the students' experiences and perceptions.
This comprehensive understanding can then inform adjustments or improvements to the
curriculum to enhance its effectiveness for all students.
REFLECTION:
While we are doing this curriculum evaluation activity, first we gather information through
brainstorming with the help of questionnaire provided by our dear professor, Dr. Vergel
Miraña. Secondly, we decided to make an online survey beacuse our respondents are too
busy. Honestly, we encounter some difficulties such as, low internet, 3D's busyness and
