Dear Forest Hills Public Schools Families,

Today we learned that law enforcement arrested an individual who is employed as a cleaner
for the district. The individual was immediately placed on administrative leave pending
investigation.

We want to assure our families and community that the safety and well-being of our
students are our highest priority. It is our understanding that no Forest Hills students were
affected. The district is working alongside law enforcement and will continue to do so to
assist with bringing resolution and closure to this situation. As a precautionary measure, we
have contracted with an external security company to conduct additional building searches
for any non-district-issued technology devices.

We understand the concerns that can arise when an incident involves law enforcement and
want to reassure our school community of our unwavering commitment to student safety.
