Sub: Letter of appointment for the position of Assistant Marketing Officer at Dhanyak
Jeevika Agri Producer Company Limited, Begusarai.

Dear Mr. Lalu Ram,

We are pleased to offer you appointment as Assistant Marketing Officer This assignment is offered to
you on contract till 31st March 2022 on terms and conditions mentioned hereunder:

1. Initially the contract will be for a period of 4 months (31st March 2021) that may be extended
further on the basis of performance, requirement of the concerned FPC and approval of the
Competent Authority.
2. You shall be the employee of the Farmer Producer Company. Hence, all your liabilities will lie
upon the concerned Farmer Producer Company.
3. The persons selected will have to abide by the rule and norms of the concerned FPC as
mentioned in the HR manual of the FPC
4. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), DJAPCL will be your reporting officer.
5. You would be given remuneration for your services in the FPC as mentioned below:

6. Apart from this, the FPC will also provide Travel allowance as 4rs/ km subject to the fact that
tour shall be approved by the CEO, DJAPCL.
7. The employee would not be entitled to any other benefit except those mentioned above.
8. Your appointment has been made on a clear understanding that you have supplied all
necessary information to enable the FPC to judge your fitness for the job and that the
information provided by you are true to the best of your knowledge and belief. If at any
stage it is found that you have given wrong/insufficient information or misrepresented the
facts; your services would be terminated forthwith.
9. In case of discontinuance, either party is required to give one month notice or one month
remuneration in lieu thereof. The FPC may also terminate your services in the event of
continuous absence from duty without approval from competent authority for 5 days or more.
During the probation period, your services can be terminated with 7 days notice period from
the FPC. However, you have to give one month notice or one month remuneration in lieu of
notice if you intend to discontinue from services during the probation period.
10. You will not be entitled to get your salary if you willfully neglect or refuse or due to any other
cause, be unable to perform any of the assigned duties. The FPC may suspend your salary till
you provide reason for such neglect/negligence with giving sufficient reason and may take
decision as deemed fit as per the circumstances of the case.

11. You would be entitled to a total of 12 days of leave for one year of completed service or on a
pro-rata basis, in addition to one day weekly off on Sundays.
12. You would not be allowed to take up any part time/ full time employment or assignment
elsewhere or do any business during the period of the contract with the FPC. If it is found
that you engage yourself in such employment, this contract will be terminated and other
appropriate action would be taken against you.
13. This appointment offered to you is on contractual basis and any claim for permanence on this
basis would not be acceptable.
14. You will not, during any time of your employment keep with yourself any asset or fund of
FPC, other than what you are entitled for.
15. While in contract with the FPC or at any time thereafter, you shall not divulge any information
or knowledge gained and acquired by you during the period of contract which could be
detrimental to the interests of the FPC.
16. The title rights, copyrights and all other rights of whatsoever nature in any material produced
by the FPC under the period of this contract shall be vested exclusively in the FPC, unless
otherwise vested in Government by virtue of project document etc.

17. During the period of contract, you shall not stand for election as Member of any Local or
Legislative Body.

18. You would conduct yourself at all times with due regard for the purposes and principles of the
FPC and in a manner befitting your relationship with the FPC under the contract. You will not
indulge in any action and in particular any kind of public announcement which may adversely
reflect on that relationship, or on integrity, independence and impartiality which are required
by the relationship. You will not accept any favour, gift or remuneration from any source
external to the FPC without approval from competent authority.

19. Notwithstanding anything contained herein before, rules, regulations, bye-laws, instructions,
lawful orders, etc. as and when framed and issued by FPC relating to the conditions of the
service and additions, amendments, modifications, alterations, etc. made in the said
conditions of service from time to time shall apply to you irrespective of whether these
matters are provided herein or not.
