LESSON 7B – GRAMMAR: THE PASSIVE

I. OBJECTIVES

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

1. Knowledge

- Understand and analyze an article about the world’s most successful art forger.

- Apply the concept of the passive voice in sentences related to art forgery.

2. Competences

- Demonstrate proficiency in using various forms of the passive voice in sentences.

- Engage in discussions about works of art, employing appropriate vocabulary and


grammar.

3. Personal qualities

- Exhibit critical thinking skills when analyzing the article on art forgery.

- Foster an appreciation for the complexities of art forgery and its impact on the art
world.

- Grade 11 textbook, Unit 7, Grammar

- Computer connected to the Internet

- Projector / TV

- PowerPoint Unit 7B

III. PROCEDURES

1. Activity 1: WARM-UP (9 mins)

- Introduce the new lesson and set the scene for Ss to acquire new language.

- Get students' attention at the beginning of the class.

- Students can gain more confidence and interest in the lesson.

b. Content:

- Lead-in (suggested).

- Exercises 1 and 2.

has been covered in this lesson.

answers: I can identify and use different forms of the passive.
