LESSON 7D – GRAMMAR: HAVE SOMETHING DONE

I. OBJECTIVES

By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to:

1. Knowledge

- Comprehend and analyze an article about tattoos, focusing on cultural significance and
personal expressions.

- Understand and apply the grammatical structure 'have something done' in context.

2. Competences

- Demonstrate proficiency in using the structure 'have something done' to discuss


experiences related to tattoos.

- Engage in conversations about getting a tattoo and share personal experiences


effectively.

3. Personal qualities

- Show empathy and respect for diverse perspectives on tattoos and body art.

- Develop an appreciation for the cultural and personal significance of tattoos as a form
of self-expression.

II. MATERIALS

- Grade 11 textbook, Unit 7, Grammar

- Computer connected to the Internet

- Projector / TV/ mini boards

- PowerPoint Unit 7D

III. PROCEDURES

1. ACTIVITY 1: LEAD-IN (8 mins)

a. Objectives:

- Get students' attention at the beginning of the class.

- Students can gain more confidence and interest in the lesson.

- Ss can review the grammar of the previous lesson.

b. Content:

- Lead-in.

- Exercises 1 and 2.

c. Products:

- Students discuss with their friends.

The way you dress (2 mins)

- Ask students: Do you think children and teenagers Ideas from students

a. Objectives:

- Ss can use the structure.

b. Content:

- Exercise 6.

c. Products:

- Students take notes in their books, discuss with their friends, then report.
