On MS PowerPoint,

1. Create 3 slides using title and content layout. [Just simple title and text- don’t do any
formatting now]

Slide 1
a. Title: Favorite food/drink
b. In Text box: type 2 lines about your favorite food/drink

Slide 2
c. Title: India/ or any country/city/county/state
d. In Text box: type 2 lines about the country/city/county/state

Slide 3
e. Title: Hobby/Book/Movie
Text: type 2 lines about your hobby/book/movie

2. Complete the following tasks on the created slides

a. Background color of slide 1 to Blue color
b. Text to red color on slide 1
c. Use Slide Master to add a small picture or icon so that it appears on all 3 sides
d. Bullet the 2 lines of slide 2 and animate it
e. Use any transition and add sound effects for 4 seconds on slide 3
f. Hyperlink any word on slide 1 to a website URL
g. Create a custom slide show for slides 1 & 3 only -for a client.
h. Create sections [Slide 1 & 2 as ‘Test section 1’] and [Slide 3 as ‘Test section 2’]
i. Simply try rearranging the slides [e.g.: moving slide 3 in the beginning etc.;]
j. While presenting try using the inbuilt options like pointer, Eraser and Highlight [Ctrl+P,
E, I]

Activity 2: [2 tasks]

1. On a new PowerPoint create a photo album using 5-7 images and edit the album to explore
settings.
2. Copy paste the table below on a slide:
a. Insert/delete a row
b. Split and merge cells of the first row
c. Explore alignments/margins
d. Explore table style/ color etc.
