    FOLLOW -UP ACTION FOR WEEK 5 JOURNAL

    ISSUE : PROBLEM IN SMART BOARD

    I need to allocate more time to prepare my teaching aids. I need to print and
    laminate the picture cards. Lesson also was not very interesting without Smart
    Board. My pupils were unable to understand certain part of the lesson during on that
    week. I able to teach as I planned using my teaching aids and LCD but my pupils still
    prefer the smart board. They felt it’s interesting because on the spot they could clear
    their doubts and future more the screen is bigger and clearer.
    My follow up action turn up to effective partially because the smart board was
    repaired on 8th April 2021. I used the smart board for my lesson. All my pupils were
    happier. The picture cards which I made useful for my ‘Minda Kancil’ pupils to
    complete their activities. Concrete teaching aids were still needed for non-visual kids.
    They needed more time to key-in the information into their brains. Even though, I
    spend more time to prepare the lesson it was not a waste.

    Screen was smaller, when I used the LCD. Pupils felt difficult to view from behind.
