redirected and reformed. One of which is Mental health and Self Actualization. These two concepts had

INTRODUCTION
Algebra is a branch of mathematics that deals with general statements of relations, utilizing letters and
other symbols to represent specific sets of numbers and values and their relationships to one another. Patterns
are important in the early stages of the development of algebraic thinking. (“Patterns and algebra - Department

OBJECTIVES
At the end of today’s sessions, the learner is expected to:

1) connect the correlation of studying patterns and series in the early stages of understanding algebra;

2) define/differentiate sequence and series;

3) define and explain arithmetic sequence;

INTRODUCTION:
Earth is a dynamic planet. It is constantly changing, It is because it is made up of
continually moving plates deep within its structure. The movement of these plates
cause the occurrence of earthquakes, the formation of volcanoes, mountains, and other
landforms. The occurrence of these phenomena does not occur randomly across the world, but

are found in certain places.


In the 1960s, a theory was introduced to the world. Scientists came up with plate tectonics
to explain many Earth features and events that are unrelated.
While no one has ever gone to the deepest part of the Earth, scientists were able to determine
its internal structure, by studying the behavior of seismic waves as they travel through the Earth,
and by studying rocks extruded from volcanic eruptions.
In this lesson, you will learn how the Plate Tectonic theory can explain the relationship among
earthquakes, mountain building, and volcanism, and the internal structure of the Earth.

OBJECTIVES:
1. Describe and relate the distribution of active volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and major
Mountain belts to Plate Tectonic theory.
2. Identify the components and layers of the Earth.

Procedure:
1. Using the knife, cut the egg (with the shell on), longitudinally (from top to bottom).
Be careful in handling the knife.
2. Observe the layers that you see.
3. Observe the layers of the Earth in the picture and compare it with the layers of the
boiled egg.

1. How many different layers did you see in the hard-boiled egg?
2. Which part of the Earth resembles the shell, white, and the yolk of the egg?

Introduction

The words “creative” and “graphic design” are usually used interchangeably and so do with the ideas
but most often both refer to the development of images, both are concepts one person can deliver and
both are admirable but their difference is that one is a skill the other is a process. The creative process
is all about coming up with a result that is totally new or taking something established and reinventing
it in a new way. It involves taking an idea, a prompting, a need, a work order, or a creative brief and
imagining a visual solution. This is beyond an expert knowledge of Photoshop or InDesign; it’s an
internal ability to come up with new and inventive ways to fulfill a need.
