Implementation, Skills learnt and experiences gained.
Every day a team of 3-4 members would teach a new topic and make the students
understand it better. By providing them with short notes, Formula list, live demonstration
by the use of models etc. So that they can understand and grasp each topic easily and
remember them for longer period. Solved exercise questions from the prescribed textbook
in class so that students can get an idea on how to approach a given problem to find a
solution in an effective way.

Students
On some of the days we would conduct the extra-curricular like quiz, puzzles, picture
games , memory games, skit, improving moral value related activities like showing few
videos of moral values etc. to ease the mind of students from the academics. I took the
initiative to conduct number game and paper cup game along with other members which
was made to increase solving ability in mathematics. We framed questions on current
affairs, and also the history and science related questions in order to boost up the students.
I along with other two friends took the topic named triangles as a part of squares and
rectangles. We divided the topic among ourselves and prepared the notes according to
those topics with formula list and also prepared models to demonstrate the concepts of
cube, cuboid, cylinder etc. We also solved the problems present in the exercise of the
prescribed textbook, and also gave the students to solve some problems to check their
understanding of the topic. When other members of our group were teaching, we would
sit besides the students and clear their doubts

Conclusion
A sincere thanks to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Department of
Electronics and Communication Engineering, Don Bosco Institute of Technology for the
opportunity, encouragement and support.
As per AICTE program, we reported our activities for 2 weeks, where we conducted
academic as well as activities for 6th and 7th standard students studying in government
school. Students got valuable information and we had a good communication with them,
which helped them to share their views and thoughts. Students were enthusiastic and
showed their interest in learning new things. Apart from this we took initiative in bringing
awareness among students regarding “smartphone usage”, “technical awareness” and
taught moral values in order to be a good human being and citizen of our nation. It was a
wonderful learning experience for us as well for working on this project. This activity took
us through various phases of enhancing new skills in teaching and innovate new ideas.
This opportunity has given me a good chance to improve myself in extra social
activities such as soft skills, communication skills, leadership qualities, team coordination,
personality development, Time management and social commitments. It was indeed an
efficient platform to share and gain knowledge and certain skills to ensure growth in all
aspects.
