About the Workshop

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is fully

committed to supporting Small and Medium Practices (SMPs) in
enhancing their skill sets. After successfully training more than 700
participants across Pakistan last year, SMP Committee of ICAP is again
holding SMP Skill enhancement series training this year for capacity
building of members and trainee students. This training will take place at
ICAP Lahore, with the added convenience of virtual connectivity to
ICAP offices in Multan, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala, on June 16th and
17th, as well as July 7th and 8th, 2023.

This training program will concentrate on a range of concepts related to

external audit, encompassing client acceptance, the conclusion stage,
and reporting. The primary objective is to strengthen and refresh the
fundamental principles and stages of external audit for SMP partners,
qualified or partially qualified staff of SMPs, as well as other members,
including those aspiring to establish their own practice. We have invited
a distinguished panel of speakers who are esteemed experts in this field.
Over the course of four days, these speakers will provide valuable
insights and share their practical experiences. The training will be
delivered through engaging presentations, interactive discussion
sessions, and thought-provoking case study scenarios.

The brochure for the workshop is included herewith for your reference.
We are pleased to inform you that all attendees of the training will be
provided with a certificate of participation. Furthermore, participants will
be eligible to receive 32 CPD hours, signifying valuable learning from the
training program.
