Learning Outcome:

CLO4: Apply Corporate Social Responsibility principles to current business practices in the Middle East
and North Africa (MENA) region and global case studies

20% Team activity: Report of 1000 words (15%) and presentation (5%)

5% ONE Individual question on CLO4

1. You are required to work in a team of 4 students.
2. Working in groups you will conduct an interview with an HR manager of any business based
in UAE and analyze the Corporate Social Responsibility of the Organization the HR
Manager works in. Include the relevant CSR theory in the analysis.
3. Report:
 Each team must write a 1000 word report in a formal /professional style which shows
Corporate Social Responsibility knowledge (theory and practical).
 The report needs a title page, contents page, introduction, body, and conclusion and
APA references.
 It must be free from grammar mistakes and written in a professional way. Times New
Roman size 12, 1.5 spacing, single page format, use of colour and good use of
relevant/professional images.
4. Presentation:
 Each team must design a presentation on CLO4 which should be 6-8 minutes.
 Students need to present on the information that they have selected for the written
report.
 Maximum 6- 8 slides and please follow the criteria on the rubric re presentation
quality, style and format
After the presentation each student needs to answer 1 question (5% ONE Individual question
on CLO4)
