• Turn on the ignition switch and move the
transmission control lever to check if the
position of the control lever is consistent with
the gear displayed in the instrument. If not,
repeat the above operation to adjust again.
• When the transmission control lever is set to P

5- Adjustment
Gears can be changed correctly only when the
automatic transmission shift cable is positioned
properly in relation to the transmission control lever
and the shift rocker arm on the transaxle. The
position of the transmission control lever must be
consistent with the gear displayed in the
instrument; otherwise, adjust as follows:
• Firstly, enable the shift cable fixed end to be
adjustable as follows:

- The fixed end of the shift cable is locked (as

shown above) and cannot be adjusted; it can
be adjusted after certain force is applied to the
lock clip A in the direction as arrowed.
- After adjustment, apply force in the direction
opposite to the direction as arrowed, and then
the shift cable will be locked and cannot be
adjusted.
• Set the transmission control lever to neutral
(N) gear.
• Rotate the shift rocker arm counterclockwise
to the end, and then rotate it clockwise by 1
notch.
• Afterwards, clip the shift cable and shift rocker
arm assembly, and lock the shift cable.
