This is to inform you all that Lenskart is interested for hiring students.

Lenskart is looking for an enthusiastic Tele/Chat sales Representative to contribute in generating sales for their
company. He/ She will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer
relationships.
An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must
be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.

Responsibilities:
 Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using
 scripts
 Answer questions about products or the company
 Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
 Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
 Enter and update customer information in the database
 Take and process orders in an accurate manner
 Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
 Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
 Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
 Requirements and skills
 Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
 Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone

 Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
 Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
 Excellent knowledge of English
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
 Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
 Any Graduation is mandate

Peyush Bansal, a former Microsoft employee, founded Lenskart.com


in 2010 along with Amit Chaudhary and Sumeet Kapahi. In 2011,
IDG Ventures India invested $4 million in the company and
mandated it to also sell wristwatches, bags and jewellery online to
replicate Titan Company's business. In 2011, the company launched
Watchkart.com and Bagskart.com, and the following year, it started
Jewelskart.com.By the end of 2014, onlyLenskart.com remained
operative as the company shut down its other three websites .

Lenskart believes customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. The company is
continuing to grow 15% MOM and changing the landscape of Indian eyewear with its
very unique services and products such as:

• Buying specs online with “Virtual Try On”.

• Home Eye Checkup service with over 2500 eye checkups every day at a customers‟
houses.
1000+ stores in 250+ odd cities pan India (including tier 2 and 3
citiess) as centers for people to get their eyes checked and
book orders online as well as get their post-sale adjustments
done.

• Home trial service in over 50 cities that allow people to try frames for free before
purchase.
• Network of Affiliate Doctors who place orders for their
consumers online on the Lenskart platform.

Majority of Lenskart eye-frames and prescription lenses are designed in-house and
come to consumer directly from manufacturing to retail. Post a spectacle order is
received, each frame is individually fitted.

With the respective prescription in company‟s own in-house state-of-the-art (a first in


India) manufacturing
facility, before it is dispatched. By owning the process end to end, company not only
provides 1 year warranty on all products sold but also a significant 50% price benefit
over any other optical chain in India.

Including the latest round, Lenskart has now raised INR 700 Crores from investors
namely, TPG Growth; Ronnie Screwvala-led Unilazer Ventures; IDG Ventures India and
International Finance Corp. Ratan Tata, Chairman
Emeritus of the Tata Group and Kris Gopalakrishnan, former Chief Executive of
Infosys, have also invested in the company, in their personal capacities.
