Subject Description:
This course is designed to provide students the opportunity to integrate their learning in
the different learning areas of the Humanities and Social Sciences through a creative culminating
activity.
Introduction:
A culminating project is a project that challenges senior high schools to demonstrate their
academic knowledge in an experiential way.
The purpose of the culminating project is to give students the opportunity to apply,
analyze, synthesize and evaluate knowledge and to demonstrate that knowledge in a project.
The culminating activity provides a means of synthesizing the knowledge and skills
acquired throughout the program. This requirement may take a variety of forms, depending on
the degree or concentration within the degree; a comprehensive examination (oral or written).

1. The learners shall be able to produce a creative portfolio that will integrate their
learning in specialized learning areas under humanities or social sciences.

3. Write a concept paper that will encapsulate their learning in humanities or social
sciences.
4. Fulfil group goals by performing assigned tasks and collaborating with team
members.
5. Simulate, practice, and apply previous learning on key concepts, principles, and
processes of humanities and social sciences to prepare for the exhibit/exhibition.
6. Showcase their understanding of the key concepts, principles, and processes of
humanities and social sciences through an exhibition.
