This was reflected in my school and future university options. I had chosen in high
school to focus on languages because I considered it important to understand myself
and those surrounding me, from the individuals to the entire society, and I realized
the increasing complexity of the relations between human communities and even
states. Therefore, I choose to study the Faculty of International Relations considering
that it combines the subtleties of all the other social sciences.
I love languages because they help me understand different cultures. As the world
became more connected, with things like trade and climate change, I wanted to do
more than just understand different cultures. I wanted to bring people together.
International Relations seemed like the perfect fit, because it includes history,
economics, politics, and more – everything you need to understand the world!
