 Background of the study
An automatic food and water dispenser for pets is a device
designed to provide pets with food and water at scheduled times
or on a continuous basis without the need for manual feeding by
the owner. These dispensers come in various designs and
functionalities to cater different needs. Automatic food and water
dispensers are useful for pet owners who have busy schedules,
are away from home for extended periods, or want to maintain
consistent feeding routines for their pets. They contribute to the
pet's health and wellbeing by ensuring they stay hydrated and
fed, even in the owner's absence
 Statement of the problem
This study aims for how effective or useful an automatic food dispenser is. It
aims to respond to the following questions in particular:

1. What is the level of acceptance of the product in the community in terms of:
A. Quality
B. Durability
C. Functionality

2. What will be the possible effect in using the automatic food and water
dispenser in pets?

3. What would be the pet's reaction to this kind of machinery?

 Objectives of the study
This study aims to develop an automatic dispenser for pet feeding.
This study aims to address the following objectives:

1. To determine the acceptability of an automatic dispenser in terms of:

A. Functionality
B. Appearance
C. Durability

2. To determine the difference between using an automatic food dispenser and

traditional pet feeding

3. To make an automatic dispenser for pet feeding that does not require the owner's
presence.
 Hypothesis
1. There is no significant difference in using
automatic feeders than regular traditional
feeding

Significance of the Study

Workers. This study will help people feed their pets if the are busy or
away from their pets.
Parents. This study will help parents to find a very convenient way of
feeding their pets if they are busy or having time with their children.
Students. This study will help students feed their pets if they're at
school.
Future researchers. This study will help further inspire future
researchers to produce ideas regarding automatic dispensers.
 Theoretical Framework
The theory of food and water dispenser tells that: "Farmers may be more willing to
use these products for it's good benefits or better outcome". Choosing to use the
automatic food and water dispenser will likely make work faster and easier. It can
also help farmers not to employ more workers, for these products will automatically
dispense food and water in the right amount that an animal needs. It is
environmental friendly, and handy.

This theory inspired the researcher to produce a new product that will lessen the
labor time and indeed can make more to increase the farm animals to be taken care
of and also an increase to the income of the farmers. Indeed, more natural meat can
be delivered to the market or better yet any individual at home that has barely time
to raise animals at the backyard can still raise their chicken normally for it only
requires less time and effort to use these.
 Definition of terms
Feeder. person or animal that eats a particular food or
in a particular manner.
Automatic. working by itself with little or no direct
human control.
Dispenser. a person or thing that dispenses something,
or an automatic machine or container which is
designed to release a specific amount of something
 Scope and delimitasions
This study aims to produce an automatic food
dispenser for pets without the need for the owner's
presence and without the need for a person to
feed pets.
