Background of the Study

Biñan City Senior High School San Antonio campus is located in Biñan
City of Laguna. A public Senior High School that offers, TVL Track Technical,
Vocational, Livelihood. This holds different Classification of Strands that falls
under this Category: HE, IA, COMPROG.

Researchers have chosen this study because the analysis of this kind of
problem that has taken place already in school will Help and favor for the
development of their specialization skills. The Basis of Developing This Study Is
From own Experience Of Researchers and Their Intrinsic Events Within the
School when the discussion is all about the Violation of Students in School-
Driven Discipline Action. This is a kind of problem they have been witnessing
ever since they first landed on the wide school of San Antonio. If so, Then
Studying to eliminate this type of Problem is extremely important to know the
Discipline System that the school is implementing and is violated by the Senior
High School students and what will be the impact to their Academic
Performances. This kind of issue will serve as an eye opener to the Problem that
has pushed the Researchers to make a study that will End the Discipline System
Violation made by the Students by means of Problem Analysis and Data
Collecting to Build a Solution which will help remove this type of problem.

Objectives of the Study

General Objective
This study is entitled “Discipline violations committed by selected grade 11
students of Biñan City Senior High School San Antonio Campus and their impact
to their academic performance, Biñan city, Laguna
Year 2018-2019 “which is proposed to learn and identify The Violation being
committed by the Students in School-Driven Disciplinary Action and How It
affects Their Academic Performance.

Specific Objectives

1. To determine the demographic profile of the respondents like age, gender and
grade/year.
2. To identify the reason of The School for Creating Disciplinary Action.
3. To know the reason why Students Commit Violations in School's Disciplinary
System of the school.
4. To understand what will be The Effects of Committing violations in school's
Disciplinary System to the academic Performance of The Student.
5. To find solution for the problem.

Assumptions of the Study

This study focuses on the behavioral difficulties faced by the School from
the Students that commit violation To the Disciplinary Action they ordered and
the effective Action they need to do to monitor students inside the campus.
Researchers assume that because of this behavior some Students possess, they
are less productive and could not focus on the field they choose that leads to
poor academic performance. Researchers expect that after completing all the
needed data for the study, their Problem Solving skills will be enhanced because
they will make a solution by means of creating system that will help reduce and
eliminate the existing problem in the school.

Statement of the Problem

This study is about Disciplinary violations committed by selected grade 11


students of Biñan City Senior High School San Antonio Campus and their impact
to their academic Performance. It is the purpose of this study to seek answers to
the following questions:

2. What is the Reason of the institution to Restructure the Discipline System for
all of the Students While They Are inside the School?

3. What Drives Students to Violate the Discipline System that exists within the
School?

4. What has been the impact when students violate the discipline system in their
academic performance?

5. What are the proposed solution/s that will minimize or totally elude the
problem?

Scope and delimitation of the Study

The study is about the Disciplinary violations committed by selected grade 11


students of Biñan City Senior High School San Antonio Campus and their impact
to their academic Performance. Researchers will focus on the Students who are
freely conducting a disciplinary system violation that leads to a dramatic drop in
their academic performance by means of conducting a study inside BCSHS-SAC
in which 2 respondents from every strand and sections from grade 11 and 12 will
be selected. They will be chosen based on the result of the survey proponents
conducted and their academic records and background submitted to the adviser.

Significance of the Study

In conducting the study, the proponents believe that findings would benefit the
following:

- The Students. This study will straighten the students’ twisted perspective on
the discipline system that the school operates and at the same time is re-
increasing their interest in obtaining high academic performance.

-The Teachers. These Findings and study will help teachers because they will
resurrect again their values as teachers and their duty to their students. This will
also minimize their constant follow-ups to non-performing students.

-The Parents and Respondents. This study will give them an idea regarding
with the School's discipline system, the Solution to Work will provide them
comfort.

-The Researchers. These Findings will help them become productive and
Idealist by creating System that is needed and required in this study.

-The Future Researchers. They can use This Study to develop a New Concept
and get the idea of it to make studies of the same interest.
