A purchasing specialist who will play a key role in the sourcing and acquisition of goods, services and contracts essential to
the successful execution of this major iron ore mining project.. The Procurement Specialist will have a deep understanding of
the project's two-phase development plan and will develop procurement strategies tailored to each phase's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with the two-phase development plan of the Project.
● Identify and select vendors and suppliers that are suited to the company's operational and financial needs.
● Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and vendors.
● Coordinate with various departments, understanding their procurement needs, and ensuring they are met.
● Manage and oversee the procurement of goods, services, and contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely
delivery.
● Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver quality goods
and services.
● Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
● Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and regulations related to procurement.
● Build relationships with external partners, such as transport companies and equipment manufacturers.
● Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification,
such as a
Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), would be an advantage.
● At least 05 years' proven experience in a procurement role, ideally in the mining industry
● Proficiency in procurement software systems and MS Office Suite.
● Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
● Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
● Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Personal Attributes:

As the Procurement Specialist, the individual will work closely with various departments and external partners to ensure the
