Description
Contract Analyst
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver Value to the Business
- Conduct prequalification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and execution
of PO’s, call offs and contracts required for the execution of selected sub-
categories in accordance to the CMCP as an overall ‘guidance’.
- Ensure delivery & effectively manage contracts while continuously drive
value improvement targets.
- Effectively manage contract claims and variations to achieve the best
commercial outcome for the Business
- Implement supply chain improvement opportunities within the Categories of
responsibilities
- Support administration of the Supply Chain Council (SCC)- Including meeting
invites and email communication to the SCC Board
- Support the C&P Records Management agenda, reduce the Records at third
party provider and ensure process for C&P files storage and retrieval
- Provide C&P reports weekly, monthly, quarterly as required to aid C&P
Improvements
• Supplier Relationships
- Manage Supplier Relationship effectively and collaboratively to drive
continuous performance
improvement via relevant contract key metrics (e.g.: HSSE, Operations, Cost).
Build and maintain
strong network in the market, being fully aware of supplier developments and
opportunities coming
up in the market.
• CP Functional Performance
Ensure a strong connect across the E2E CP organization, the Global Centers of
Excellence and the wider
global CP organization to ensure bi-directional sharing and leverage of best
practices.
• People
Proactively identify & understand commercial/procurement needs from internal
stakeholders (Business) and collaboratively propose competitive solutions.
This may involve constructively challenging
the Business Demand &/or Procurement Practices in order to drive value and
efficiency for the
organization
• Process Excellence
- Ensure application of the End to End (E2E) CMCP process, SAP, Ariba and
using commercial judgement, and CP operating practices, while always keeping
enterprise business value in focus.

Skills & Requirements:
This is a role for an experienced (+2 years) business CP experience. MCIPS
(Chartered Institute of Procurement &
Supply) Qualification or equivalent would be preferred but not mandatory.

- Proven experience in contract negotiations & complex tender evaluation.
- Good understanding of technical, legal, finance, and commercial issues.
- Deep understanding of local market availability, capacity, and competency.

precise manner
- Interacts confidently with peers internally and externally with
representatives of suppliers/contractors.
- Confidence in making presentations internally, and participating in
external negotiations under supervision.

- Collaborates and integrates within CP and with business, enterprise first
- Understands business and speaks business language
- Has effective influencing skills to change and work with multifunctional
