WRITING A NARRATIVE REPORT

INSTRUCTIONS:

TASK: Write a narrative report on the participation of the National Reading Month following the
template and supporting with pictures as evidence.
The National Reading Month was celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation in our community. This
report aims to provide an overview of the activities and the extent of community involvement during the month-long
celebration.
The participation in the National Reading Month was widespread, with active involvement from schools, libraries,
and community organizations. Students, teachers, and families eagerly participated in the activities. The month
began with a book fair at the community center, showcasing a diverse range of books for all ages.Storytelling
sessions at the local library engaged children with captivating tales read by volunteers. A reading challenge was
organized, encouraging individuals to read a set number of books within the month. The response to the challenge
was significant, with many participants exceeding the target.Additionally, a book donation drive was conducted,
resulting in a substantial collection of books that were distributed to local schools and libraries, ensuring broader
access to reading materials.The National Reading Month had a positive impact on the community, fostering a sense
of community involvement and support for literacy. Children were seen eagerly exploring books and expressing their
excitement for reading. Parents and teachers noted the positive change in the reading habits of the children, with
many expressing their intention to continue promoting reading at home and in schools.
NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL READING MONTH

I. INTRODUCTION:
In Mambago B National High School they are celebrated the National Reading Month last November
10. 2023 to December 01. 2023. National Reading Month is a time to encourage people of all ages to pick up a
book and immerse themselves in the world of literature. The goal of National Reading Month is to foster love of
reading ang to emphasize the importance of literacy in our society.

development.To make the most of National Reading Month, it is important for schools, libraries, and

supportive and engaging environment that fosters a love for reading. It is also essential for parents and
educators to set a good example by reading themselves and encouraging children to read regularly.Moving
forward, I recommend to continue promoting National Reading Month and to expand its reach to more
communities. Collaboration between schools, libraries, and local organizations can help spread awareness and
participation in reading-related activities. Additionally, providing access to a diverse range of books and reading
materials is important to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to explore different genres and
