Ethical Decision

One example of an ethical decision that I made was when I was an elementary student
and I found 1,000 pesos lying on the ground inside my school. There was an event at
that time. At first, I was tempted to keep the money for myself. After all, no one would
know, right? But then my conscience kicked in, reminding me of the importance of
honesty and integrity. and I'm also afraid that someone might see me pick up the money
and that karma might come back to me because of what I did wrong by not returning
what wasn't mine. When I was that young, I knew that it was bad if I took something that
didn't belong to me. So, I made the decision to turn the money to my teacher, hoping
that the rightful owner would be able to retrieve it. It wasn't an easy choice to make, as
the allure of the money was strong, but I felt a sense of pride and relief knowing that I
had done the right thing. Plus, who knows how much that person needed the money?
By making that ethical decision, I not only upheld my own values but also potentially
helped someone else in a time of need.
