7 : to nullify the Presidential Certification of the Maharlika Investment fund

8 : urgent measures as it is not sufficient to warrant review by the court.

9 : The petitioners received a copy of the resolution asking them to seek

10 : reconsideration to dismiss the petition. SC says that the petitioners fails

11 : to present facts establishing the existence of an actual case or

12 : controversy ripe for adjudication to the court. This is Janine Paas

15ANCHOR: Peace and Order councils of local government who will go undergo for

16 : annual performance this year might receive a 70 percent passing rate

17 : by the Department of Interior and Local Government.

19NP 2 : The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) says that

20 : it would implement a 70 percent passing rate for over 1,700 Peace and

21 : Order Councils (POCS) of Local Government Units (LGU’s) that will

1 : have to pass through annual performance audits. The DILG further

2 : says that 1,715 local POC’s has to score 70 percent or higher, it should

3 : be considered “functional”. Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. adds that he

4 : wants to make sure that our regional, provincial, city and municipal

5 : POC’s are functioning, carrying strategies and interventions to improve

10 : affiliated driving schools. The launch of the nationwide theoretical

11 : driving course will push the rollout of free courses at all regional offices
