TRAUMATIC INJURIES TABLE (EXPANDED)

Author: Bill Gant, February 2021

The Traumatic Injuries table on page 195 skews towards limb injuries, and head injuries are limited only to
eye damage. Use the expanded table below for more varied and brutal effects.

TRAUMATIC INJURIES
D66 Result Effect
11-22 Left Leg You suffer a severe injury to your left foot (11), lower leg (12-14), or upper leg
(15-22); you can no longer use it. Losing both legs means you are unable to walk,
run, or sprint, and may only crawl (p.180).

23-34 Right Leg You suffer a severe injury to your right foot (23), lower leg (24-26), or upper leg
(31-34); you can no longer use it. Losing both legs means you are unable to walk,
run, or sprint, and may only crawl (p.180).

35 Pelvis / Lower Spine You suffer a severe injury to your pelvis or lumbar spine; you lose function in both
your legs. You are unable to walk, run, or sprint, and may only crawl (p.180).

36-42 Guts You suffer a severe injury to your abdominal organs. Your Toughness Attribute is
reduced by 2 †.

43-45 Chest You suffer a severe injury to your thorax. You must succeed on a DN 3 Toughness
Test or your heart is disabled, causing instant death unless you have another
functioning heart. If you survive, one of your lungs is disabled instead; your
Toughness Attribute is reduced by 1†, and you are Hindered (1) (p.199). If you
have no functioning lungs remaining, you also begin to Suffocate (p.201).

46 Upper Spine You suffer a severe injury to your thoracic or cervical spine. All your limbs are
disabled; you are unable to move.

51-54 Left Arm You suffer a severe injury to your left hand (51), lower arm (52), or upper arm (53-
54); you can no longer use it. Losing both arms means you are unable to hold any
weapons or similar gear.

55-62 Right Arm You suffer a severe injury to your right hand (55), lower arm (56), or upper arm
(61-62); you can no longer use it. Losing both arms means you are unable to hold
any weapons or similar gear.

63-66 Head Roll 1d6:

1 Throat: You suffer a severe throat injury; you begin to Suffocate (p.201).

2-3 Face: You suffer a severe facial injury; you are unable to speak.

4 Eye: You suffer a severe injury to one of your eyes, blinding it. Having
only a single undamaged eye causes a minimum of +1 DN to any Tests
that require depth perception or peripheral vision. If you have no
functioning eyes left, you are Blinded (p.199).

5-6 Skull: You suffer a severe injury to your skull. You must succeed on a DN
3 Toughness Test or die instantly. If you survive, you become comatose.

Note that a reduction to your Toughness Attribute causes a corresponding reduction to your Resilience, Maximum
Wounds, and Determination.
