I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
A. analyze the different types of clouds;
B. identify the different types of clouds; and
C. describe the different types of clouds.

Topic: The Types of Clouds

“Yes, Ma’am!”

“If you are ready to learn, clap your


hands twice, look at me and smile.”
5. Review of the Past Lesson
“What was our lesson yesterday?”
The students will answer.
“Very good!”
B. Motivation
“Okay class, let us first sing a
song. Let us sing, “Up, up, up!”
“Are you ready?”
“Yes, Ma’am!”

“Up, up, up!”


“Up, up, up, up in a balloon. Up so high I
can touch the moon. Up, up, up sailing
with the clouds. Look at me I’m so high, I
can fly, I know how.”

“Trains are fun, cars are fast, riding bikes


down by the river is a blast. But if I had
my way, just one chance for a day, I’d go
ballooning to the stars so I can fly…”
(REPEAT STANZA I Up, up, up)

“Some creatures swim, others climb, my


kind talk all the time. But if I had my way,
just one chance for a day! I’d trade places
with a bird, so I can fly.”
(REPEAT STANZA I Up, up, up)

“I feel the rush of the wind as I climb


higher. I taste the cold, I touch the air, I am
the sky.”
"Now let's look outside and
watch the clouds."
"When you observe the clouds,
what do you notice in the clouds?
Or how can you describe the
clouds now?"
The students will answer.

“Let's give an angel clap to those


who answered.”
The teacher will demonstrate the
clap.
The students will do the angel clap.
C. Lesson Proper
“Today, we are going to study the
different types of clouds.”
“Clouds have different sizes and
shapes.”
“I have different pictures here.”

The teacher will show the pictures on


the board.
“How can you describe the clouds?
Anyone?”

“Very good!”
“These clouds are thin and wispy. “The clouds look like feathers.”
These are the cirrus clouds.”
“Again, what do we call the clouds
that are thin and wispy?”
“Everyone?”

“How about this picture?”


“We call them cirrus clouds.”

“How can you describe the clouds?


Anyone?”

“Very good!”
“The clouds are white.”
“These clouds are white and puffy. “The clouds are like cabbage heads.”
These are the cumulus clouds.”
“Again, what do we call the clouds
that are white and puffy?”

“I have here another picture.”


“We call them cumulus clouds.”
IV. EVALUATION
