I. OBJECTIVE
At the end of the lesson, the student should be able to:
a. define and discuss what is travelogue
b. reflect the importance of learning travelogue
c. write a travelogue.

1. Prayer

“Alright, let us check first your attendance;

“Travelogue= is a kind of creative nonfiction that


deals with travel. A travelogue has to be the first person
and describe the place or places where one (that is, the
narrator) has traveled.
“Example: Travel pictures, Travel video or
film, Travel guide, Travel journal.

“Travelogue will enrich your trip at the time


and will preserve your memories of your experiences.”

“(When I plan to visit this place, I research


first the exact location so that I can easily find this
place and this place is located at Osmena. When I am
in the place I amaze because there are strawberries here
that is why I write something on my keynote phone
that, this place is unique from the other place that I
traveled. Moreover, this place is very clean and
attractive to see because of the strawberry. This place is
located at Mutia Osmena beside cloud 9 peak. When Student: “Yes Ma’am”
you want to travel here, you need to bring jacket
because this place is cold.)

“Travelogue is the most common of today’s


generation, because we as a traveler we want to explore
the beauty of nature and took a picture of every places
that we traveled.”

“When we say travelogue it talks about your


own experiences on that particular places, because you
can’t narrate that place if you are not the one who
traveled there.”

“There are 5 steps for making a travelogue”

1. Research the place


=Before making a travelogue about a particular
destination, you will need to thoroughly research. Or
else you can asked first the local people about its
legends and other information related to that place.

2. Write Descriptively
=When you presenting a picture you should write some
thoughts, and show your artistic talent here by
describing the place in such a complete manner that the
readers actually visualize it.

3. Highlights the Various Attractions


=The first thing that the persons or reader attract in
travelogue is the neatness and interesting places. So
include to your travelogue all the available attraction of
that place.

4. Mention the Ways and Means to Reach the


Destination
=In making travelogue should always include the
various means by which one can easily reach the place.
You should give also the information regarding the
airline details, train details, or any other details that
been necessary.

5. Give Some Culture Background


=Giving some culture background of the place makes
your travelogue richer in its content. Because people
like to know the background and culture of the place,
they are planning to visit. It gives them a distinctive
idea of what to expect from that place. Student: “Yes Ma’am”
