DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN RS 7

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

a. Identify the Plot of the Story

b. Describe ways how to obey God

c. Appreciate the importance of obedience

II. SUBJECT MATTER

TOPIC : Adam and Eve

MATERIALS: Bible Story

Visual Aids- Picture of the Story

REFERENCES: The Old Testament, Book of Genesis Chapter Two

VALUES INTEGRATION: Obedience, Cooperation and Collaboration

III. PROCEDURE

A. ENGAGE

1. Preparation

" Goodmorning Class...." " Goodmorning Ma'am! "

" Let us pray first...." ( one student will lead the Opening prayer)
" Class do you know the song my toes, my Students: " Yes Ma'am..."

B.LESSON PROPER

" Let's proceed to our main topic for today. Our


topic for today is all about Adam and Eve.

" I will read the story, then you should listen


carefully, and familiarize the story. Because right
after I read we're having our activities, regarding
these story.
" understood!..."

" Okay lets start!.... Students: " yes Ma'am

When God created Adam from the dust of the earth


and gave him life by breathing into his nostrils, He
brought all the animals that he had created and
showed them to Adam.

Adam was given to honour of naming the animals,


but after all been named, God felt that there was no
suitable helper for Adam, which is why He decided to
send Adam into a deep sleep, and from His rib, He
created Eve, whom Adam called " woman"

God created the garden of Eden as their home, and


in it were all types of trees that God told Adam and
Eve they were allowed to eat from all; except one,
the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

One day, as Adam and Eve were in the garden, the


serpent, which was the craftiest of all the creatures
that God had made, tempted Eve into eating the fruit
from this tree

And She shared it with her Husband who was with


her

Though they were forbidden to eat the fruit from


that Tree, Adam and Eve ate, disobeying God, and
committing the first sin. But as God is just, He had no
choice but to banish them from the garden. He told
them that because they sinned, they would have to
suffer the consequences. They would have to work
very hard to make the ground produce food, they
would feel pain, and they would eventually die after
a very hard life.

C. POST LESSON ACTIVITY

IV. APPLICATION

Now I will group you into 3 groups. And every groups


should have one representative to read your output
infront.

Direction: Who tempted Eve to eat the fruit of


knowlege? Explain why God banish them in the
garden.

" If you have some question regarding to our activity


dont hesitate to ask me. Okay?

" You may now start answering, you're given 10 Students: Yes Ma'am
minutes to prepare and construct your answer.."

( Students followed)
After 10 minutes..........

" Okay class let's start your presentation

After that......

" Very good presentation class!

Give yourself around of applause...."

( Students clapped their hands)

V. GENERALIZATION

" Now I want you to test if you really understand our


topic....we're having our oral recitation."

Kenneth, why we should obey God?

( Student Answered)
" Okay thank you. Mikee what are the consequences
if we we're disobeying God's command?
( Student Answered)

" All your answers are correct, meaning obedience


demonstrates our faith and trust in God. Obedience
is the key to our success; And it is an act of worship
as it demonstrates our love for God and sets us apart

( Students listened carefully)

VI. EVALUATION
" I think you already understood our topic for
today. So, for now get 1/2 sheet of paper and answer
the following.

" You are given 10 minutes to answer to answer."

relate it to yourself as a student.
