Nowadays a lot of parents around the world are arguing about some aspects of child rearing.

Some
of them believe that letting younger generation make their own decision can have a negative impact
on their future. That can be a reason of people’s selfishness, which can cause serious problems and
misunderstanding in society. Whereas, there are parents who have totally opposite point of view
and support the importance of allowing children make their own choices.

On the one hand, those parents who give their babies a choice raise them as individuals with own
preferences. From the childhood, they are taught to choose things based on their priorities without
considering other’s opinion. Without any doubts, such children soon become selfish adults who
always behave according to their interests.

On the other hand, the right approach of upbringing can have another effect of children. Those ones,
who used to make their own decision from young age, would have their opinion and understand
what they want. Unfortunately, there are a lot of adults without realizing what they want from their
life and cannot make appropriate decision in the right moments. Also, those people, who had a right
to choose when they were children, are more likely to achieve their goals and become
businesspeople or famous figure.

To sum up, allowing children make their own decisions has advantages and disadvantages, that it
why it is quite hard to say if it has good impact on their future or not. In my opinion, if we let
younger generation to choose their own preferences from the childhood, it will have a positive effect
on the development as individuals and adult life.
