or are we limited in the choices we can


make?
Parenting, morals, and beliefs all make up one thing; the choices we make as human beings. Imagine a
scenario where people can make decisions and don’t pay the consequences for their acts. For it would
draw a line between what can be seen as moral and immoral. So that’s why we have rules and
regulations to follow.
Parents have an important role in our lives teaching us how to make the right choices also teaching us
what’s moral or immoral. However, as an individual gets older, they are expected to start making their
own decisions following what their parents taught them. Then, teaching their own children and maybe
others to make decisions in life.
The majority of children remember all their parents taught them, which in turn, help them how to make
decisions. The choices people make are based on what they believe and are based in their own culture.
Parents raise their children according to what they believe is right or wrong and who they would like
their children to become. Undoubtedly, where the children are born, and where they are raised will
influence the children and the parents as well. It’s up to parents and guardians to guide and teach their
children to make decisions.
Moreover, people usually grow up with their parents’ lessons and teachings. Parents the opportunity to
influence the lives of their children, positively or negatively. In order to grow, personally and
professionally, they must make daily decisions in our lives. When they become teenagers, they start to
understand that their decisions can also affect other people’s lives. However, they must teach their own
children and others to make the right decisions in life.
Therefore, yes, people are free to make decisions, however, these decisions come with responsibilities
and consequences. So that’s why the parent’s job is the hardest one. They need to teach, help and
support their children and advise them how to make the decision.

a. In order to grow, personally and professionally, we must make daily decisions in our

iii. Teach their own children and others to make the right decisions in life

2. It makes a huge difference when parents take the time to sit down and
talk with their children teaching what’s right, what’s wrong, and
consequences. Parents help shape the character of their children. With
decisions, comes responsibility.

3. When children grow up to become teenagers, they start to understand


that their decisions can also affect other people’s lives.

Therefore, yes, people are free to make decisions, however, these decisions come with
responsibilities and consequences.
