1.0 SCOPE

This specification describes the requirements for the supply of continuous drainers to
be installed on the offshore platforms.

2.0 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1 The supply of continuous drainers shall conform to the data sheet which forms
a part of this specification.

2.2 Continuous Drainers shall be direct acting float operated type. Material of
Body & other parts and end connections of the continuous drainer shall be as
per the Data sheet.

2.3 Vendor to select proper valve and seat to ensure that continuous Drainers
shall be capable of operating at 3 times the normal flow.

2.4 All continuous Drainers shall be supplied with line size Y-type strainers
conforming to specification 6347-40-16-43-SP-19.

3.0 TAGS

All tags shall be of SS-316 material and permanently attached.

4.0 SITE CONDITIONS

For site conditions & Climate refer Specification, 6347-40-16-56-SP-03

5.0 VENDOR DATA

Dimensional drawing with material specifications shall be furnished for review. Other
vendor data shall be furnished in accordance with Specification for Vendor data
requirements, “6347-40-16-44-SP-04”.

6.0 INSPECTION AND TESTING

Company or its authorised representative(s) reserve(s) the right to witness the tests.

7.0 SPARES

7.1 Vendor shall recommend and provide spare parts needed for start-up and
commissioning.

7.2 Vendor shall also recommend a list of spare parts (with prices) needed for
one (1)year operation and maintenance.

8.0 WARRANTY

Vendor shall have final and total responsibility for the design, fabrication and
performance of all equipments supplied under this specification.

Vendor shall warrant that the equipment furnished by him is in accordance with this
specification and Specification for General Technical Requirements, “6347-40-16-44-
SP-01”.
