1.0 SCOPE
This specification describes the requirements for the supply of Hand Control Valves
(Pressure Reducing Valves) to be installed on the offshore platform.
1. The supply of Hand Control Valves shall be made in accordance with the
data sheets, which form a part of this specification.
2. The valve shall be Multi-stage pressure reducing type, designed for the
pressure drop as indicated in the Datasheet.
4. The noise level at 3M distance from the valve shall not be more than
85 dBA. For other details, refer Specification for Equipment Noise limits,
spec. no. 6347-40-25-54-SP-01.
3.0 TAGS
Vendor data shall be furnished in accordance with Specification for Vendor Data
Requirement, Spec. No. 6347-40-16-44-SP-04.
All valves shall be tested as mentioned in the data sheets. Company or its
representative(s) reserve(s) the right to witness the tests.
7.0 SPARES
Vendor shall recommend and provide spare parts needed for start-up &
commissioning.

Vendor shall also recommend & supply spare parts (with prices) needed for one (1)
year operation and maintenance.
8.0 WARRANTY
Vendor shall have final and total responsibility for the design, fabrication and
performance of all valves supplied under this specification.
Vendor shall warrant the equipment furnished by him in accordance with this
specification and Specification for General Technical Requirements, “6347-40-
16-44-SP-01”
