RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE MANDATE OF REBUBLIC ACT 10742 TO CELEBRATE THE
LINGGO NG KABATAAN, PLAN TO SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY GAONGAN, SIPOCOT,
CAMARINES SUR.

WHEREAS, every province, city, municipality, and barangay is required to hold an annual event known as
the Linggo ng Kabataan during the week that August 12 falls within the International Youth Day Holiday,
according to Republic Act 10742, also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015. In the
case of the barangay, the Sk will lead the way in this observance.

WHEREAS, on August 10, 2023 the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Barangay Gaongan will hold a one-
day celebration.

WHEREAS, the Gaongan Sangguniang Kabataan will take part in the movement and use P16,000 from
the funds designated by lingo ng Kabataan to give prizes and food to the Gaongan Youth Participants.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion presented by SK kagawad, Jasmine Azanon duly seconded unanimously be
it,

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this resolution for assistance be sent to all parties involved for
kind perusal and documentation.
