RESOLUTION 02-2021

A RESOLUTION IN THE CREATION OF VEGETABLE GARDEN

COMMITTEE OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY
PINDANGAN 2ND CAMILING, TARLAC.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of R.A. 10742 otherwise known as the

SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN REFORM ACT of 2015. As the most basic political
unit, the Sangguniang Kabataan establish reforms in the barangay create for meaningful
youth participation in nation building and other purposes, and serve as the primary
planning and implementing unit of government policies, plans, programs, projects, and
activities in the community and as a forum wherein the collective views of the youth may
be expressed, crystallized and considered and where dispute may be amicably settled.

WHEREAS, Section 30 of RA 10742 also known as the Sanguniang Kabataan

Reform Act of 2015, mandates the Annual conduct an annual activity to be known as
Linggo ng Kabataan in every barangay, municipality, and province.
WHEREAS, amid COVID-19 pandemic, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay
Pindangan 2nd continues the mandate to actively engage the youth in nation building by
working closely with the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration of Pederasyon ng Sangguniang
Kabataan ng Camiling.
WHEREAS, one of the activities of the LNK of the PPSK is Community Organic
Vegetable Garden contest, the SK Pindangan 2 nd should join the activity. To encourage
the youth to participate and learn to appreciate the importance of community vegetable
gardening during pandemic.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of SK Kgwd. Diana Rose C. Loquing, unanimously

seconded by the council;

WHEREAS, attached hereto is a copy of the Organizational Chart, and the Roles and
Responsibilities of the Committee.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to create the Vegetable Garden Committee of The

Sangguniang Kabataan ff Barangay Pindangan 2Nd Camiling, Tarlac.

RESOLVED FURTHER that copies hereof be furnished the Office of the Accounting
Office for their perusal and information.
