RESOLUTION NO. 14, S. 2020

A RESOLUTION GRANTING KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN MEMBERS OF

BARANGAY BOLBOK, BATANGAS CITY, ELIGIBILITY TO
SK EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 2020 AGAINST COVID-19
______________________________________________________________________________

WHEREAS, the Republic Act No. 10742, also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act
of 2015 provides in Chapter 2, Section 20, paragraph (c) states that all SK Funds shall be
allocated in an annual budget and gives priority to programs, activities and projects that
will promote and ensure the equitable access to quality education, environmental
protection, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and resiliency, youth
employment and livelihood, health, including health services and adolescent sexual and
reproductive health, anti- drug abuse, gender sensitivity, sports development, and
capability building which emphasizes leadership training;

WHEREAS, from this provision of Republic Act No. 10742, the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Bolbok focuses on the equitable access to quality education;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Councilor Cathleen Julia De Castro, and seconded by all
the Sangguniang Kabataan Members, SK shall grant the SK Educational Financial
Assistance to eligible Katipunan ng Kabataan Members;

WHEREAS, SK Educational Assistance Program (SKEAP) aims to give aid to students affected
by COVID-19 pandemic;

THEREFORE, grantee must be an indigent student living in the barangay and must be a registered
voter if of legal age;

THEREFORE, the SK Educational Assistance Program (SKEAP) is eligible for Junior High
School, Senior High School and College Students;

BOLBOK, BATANGAS CITY, ELIGIBILITY TO SK EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
2020 AGAINST COVID-19

THEREFORE, grantee must be in good class standing having an average mark of at least 80% for
the previous year or semester;

THEREFORE, old grantees will be renewed given that they have submitted complete
requirements;

THEREFORE, each grantee will receive an amount of Php 2,000;

THEREFORE, the said amount will be given on the fourth quarter of the year 2020;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the eligibility of the Katipunan

ng Kabataan Members to the SK Educational Financial Assistance Program of SK of
Barangay Bolbok, Batangas City and endorsing the same to the Sangguniang Barangay for
adaptation and approval,

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to DILG, SK Federation
Office and other agencies concerned.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED by the Sangguniang Kabataan Members on 6th day of September,

in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 14, S. 2020 was approved by the SK Members
present in the Regular Meeting held on September 6, 2020.
