1. LESSON 1: CÁC THỂ LOẠI PHIM ẢNH
- Comedy /ˈkɒm.ə.di/ (n) phim hài
Ví dụ: + This comedy movie makes me laugh. It’s so funny.
- Action /ˈæk.ʃn/ (n) phim hành động
Ví dụ: + There were a lot of chasing and fighting in this action movie. It’s so exciting.
- Science fiction /ˌsaɪ.əns ˈfɪk.ʃn/ (n) phim khoa học viễn tưởng
Ví dụ: + Science fiction movies are usually about space and the future. Sometimes you can see aliens in them.
- Drama /ˈdrɑː.mə/ (n) phim chính kịch
Ví dụ: + I like drama movies. They’re about people’s lives.
- Horror /ˈhɔːr. ər/ (n) phim kinh dị
Ví dụ: + I don’t like horror movies. There are always ghosts and spirits or devils. They are scary.

2. LESSON 2: TÍNH TỪ MIÊU TẢ PHIM ẢNH (theo cặp trái nghĩa)

- Sad /sæd/ (adj) buồn & Funny /ˈfʌn.i/ (adj) hài hước
Ví dụ: + This sad movies makes my cry all the time.
+ You should watch “Tim - the little dog”, it’s so funny and makes me laugh a lot.

1. Tổ hợp phụ âm /st/ (Unit 6 lesson 1)
Các từ có chứa tổ hợp phụ âm /st/ thể hiện bằng 2 chữ cái st được gạch dưới trong mỗi từ

Các từ KHÔNG chứa tổ hợp phụ âm /st/ thể hiện bằng 2 chữ cái st được gạch dưới trong mỗi từ

2. Phụ âm /l/ (Unit 6 lesson 2)
Các từ có chứa phụ âm /l/ KHÔNG nguyên vẹn (có nghĩa chỉ cuộn đầu lưỡi lên và giữ nguyên chứ không bật hơi)
+ recycle + single + social
+ reusable + simple + useful
+ article + bottle + people
Các từ có chứa phụ âm /l/ nguyên vẹn (có nghĩa cuộn đầu lưỡi lên VÀ bật hơi)
+ usually + plastic
Từ “talk” có chữ cái “l” nhưng không có âm /l/ (không cuộn đầu lưỡi)

3. Phát âm từ “at” (Unit 7 lesson 1)

- Khi từ “at” ở giữa câu thì đọc thành /ət/
- Khi từ “at” ở đầu câu thì đọc thành /æt/

4. Danh từ, tính từ có 2 âm tiết thì thường nhấn vào âm tiết đầu

D. ĐÀM THOẠI
Unit 6 - lesson 1: +Nói “Excuse me!” để gọi một người lạ và thu hút sự chú ý của họ 1 cách lịch sự.
+Dùng “Is there a/an + danh từ” để hỏi về sự hiện diện của 1 sự vật, sự việc nào đó. Khi trả lời câu hỏi “Is there
a/an….” thì nói “Yes” hoặc “no”
Ví dụ:
A: Excuse me! Is there a post office near here?
B: Yes, the post office is next to the bus station, on Elm Street./ No, there isn’t.
Unit 6 - lesson 3: +Nói “Sorry, could you repeat that?” hoặc “Sorry, could you say that again?” để yêu cầu ai đó lặp lại lời họ nói
khi ta nghe chưa rõ ở lần đầu.
Ví dụ:
A: To help the charity you can donate money or food.
B: Sorry, could you repeat that?/ Sorry, could you say that again?
Unit 7 – lesson 1: +Nói “Hey! Do you want to + động từ nguyên mẫu” để bắt đầu cuộc hội thoại với 1 người bạn và mời họ làm
1 việc gì đó với mình.
+Chú ý câu hỏi yes/no hoặc câu hỏi “wh-“
A: Hey! Do you want to watch “The little Prince”?
B: Sure (=yes). What time is it?
A: 10 a.m.
B: Where is it?
B: ABC cinema.
