HANDS are an Important part of our Daily Life!

The hand is one of the most complex pieces of natural engineering in the human body. It gives us a powerful grip but also allows us
to manipulate small objects with great precision. Our hands provide us with constant feedback on the world around us. We use
them to determine if objects are hot or cold, wet or dry, rough or smooth, light or heavy. The complex abilities of the hand are part
of what make humans unique. Only humans can bring our thumbs across the hand to connect with our ring and pinkie fingers. This
ability provides us with the dexterity to use tools.
From the moment we wake up we start using our hands for everything we do, getting ready for the day and getting to work. Once
we are at work, we continue to use our hands for almost every task we do. We use tools, operate plant and equipment, repair
things, build structures, make a phone call and even writing or signing our name.
