transported by rail did not change, but in the period 1978-1994 it stabilized. After
that, the number of goods gradually increased until 2002 increased by 40 million.
 Pipeline: The least common mode of transportation, with relatively stable cargo
transportation, fluctuating around 10 million tons during this period.
