Political Self is that aspect of the self that helps the individuals understand and function
effectively in society. Filipino as social and political beings need to be aware of their identity
to function effectively in a democratic society.
Ang Political Self ay ang aspeto ng sarili na tumutulong sa mga indibidwal na maunawaan at
gumana nang epektibo sa lipunan. Ang Pilipino bilang panlipunan at pulitikal na nilalang ay
kailangang magkaroon ng kamalayan sa kanilang pagkakakilanlan upang epektibong
gumana sa isang demokratikong lipunan.
Filipino values and traits are deeply rooted in the culture and history of the Philippines.
These values and traits have been shaped by a variety of influences, including indigenous
beliefs, colonial history, and modern societal changes. It's important to note that not all
Filipinos possess these traits to the same degree, and there can be significant individual
variation.
In Enriquez’ (2007; as cited in Clementel et al.,2008) Kapwa model’s value structure, he
identified 12 filipino Values from 4 categories: surface values, pivot value, core value and
foundation of human values.
Ang mga pagpapahalaga at katangiang Pilipino ay malalim na nakaugat sa kultura at
kasaysayan ng Pilipinas. Ang mga pagpapahalaga at katangiang ito ay hinubog ng iba't
ibang impluwensya, kabilang ang mga katutubong paniniwala, kolonyal na kasaysayan, at
modernong mga pagbabago sa lipunan. Mahalagang tandaan na hindi lahat ng Pilipino ay
nagtataglay ng mga katangiang ito sa parehong antas, at maaaring mayroong
makabuluhang indibidwal na pagkakaiba-iba.
Sa Enriquez’ (2007; tulad ng binanggit sa Clementel et al.,2008) ang istruktura ng halaga ng
modelong Kapwa, natukoy niya ang 12 Filipino Values mula sa 4 na kategorya: surface
values, pivot value, core value at pundasyon ng human values.
So This is kms by enriquiz he identified 12 filipino Values from 4 categories: surface values,
pivot value, core value and foundation of human values. So first the sirface value divided into
2 dimension which is the commodative sv and comfortative value

Democratic culture through democratic education will give the opportunity of educating students,
starting from the early ages, that will have important places in the society in the future. In this
context, to train individuals who have interiorized the democratic values will have an important
place in dominating the society by developing the democratic culture. Modern society occurs as a
result of that people who have democratic consciousness are administered by democratic rules.
School, as an institution that prepares individuals for the real life, should be equipped for the
purpose of training individuals that have democratic skills, democratic practices during the education
and the participation should be put in the center.
